That’s OK – I don’t know what I was thinking when I said “rustle, not russel” – looking back, the common phrase is “to ruffle feathers”. I think I’ll get stuck into the brandy again and rustle some feathers while listening to the leaves ruffle in the wind.

That’s “rustle”, not “russel”, unless of course you use ‘russel’ in a situation like this: the con artist is working out how to Jack Russel.
