Just a thought – if you haven’t already you should see the vid Zeitgheist (probably misspelled) – you’d love the section on religion. :)

Zeitgeist: The Move. Skeptical Towards Religion, but Pro-9/11 and Banking Conspiracies? My favorite kind of nuttiness. I’ll have to check it out!

Zeitgeist – an interesting movie, chock full of interesting facts and plausible interpretations of data and evidence but the hypotheses drawn from them are pretty wild, insufficiently supported and questionable.

Religious is bunk? You don’t say. But why over play that hand? There is plenty of readily obvious factual errors, ethical double standards and glaring flaws to choose from – why go off on a highly speculative interpretation that is widely disputed already?

9/11 Mysteries? Undoubtedly, plenty of things that are either unexplained or not understood. Banking Conspiracy? Well Banks exist solely to handle money and in the process make more of it for themselves, it’s their purpose and continued reason for existence. Are their a lot of screwy and unscrupulous looking details involved in the methods of capitalistic economics? Yup. Does this necessarily imply a huge coordinated cabal conspiring to enslave the entire world to its bidding? Think about it a little more.

If only for some very interesting cherry-picked facts, which are nonetheless facts, the ‘documentary’ is worth watching.
