Of course of you want to be technical, we are already among the stars so no matter what you shoot for, the claim in the first panel is correct. How far apart are the stars anyway? It’s all relative.
Then, the third panel is misleading in that if you get to the moon in it’s current un-populated state, your fate would be the same as if you had missed it, due to the lack of atmosphere thereon.
Gee, Jeff, if I chuck a bit of sciencey positive thinking your way, could you maybe send me some of that Astro Money? Please? And hope it won’t miss … unlike that satellite!
